UTSA never got cover for beating Txst. When they beat us, it elevates them. It's a one-sided deal: they beat us, it help their brand; we beat them, it doesn't matter. Our brand grew most the years we went w/out playing them. Strange for UTSA to think we needed this series.

2. Jeff Traylor, UTSA Rare coach who turned down a P4 poach. Very few programs have won more games than UTSA since Traylor arrived. 7-win seasons were once considered a big success at UTSA, last yr it was a letdown. That's the new standard Traylor has set at his AAC4 program.

Had this discussion yesterday with @Keff_C. If UTSA wants to elivate its athletic program and make it more attractive, it needs to invest in an on campus stadium. That would make it easier for students to attend games and be excited about the football team.
