This year, Eating Disorders Awareness week is highlighting how eating disorders can affect anyone. Misconceptions around what eating disorders look like can mean people delay seeking help, decreasing their chances of a full recovery.

Facilitated by our Chair, Sian Taylor, & Tanya Rumney, this course is suitable for anyone in the dietetic workforce with supervision responsibilities or considering such a role. It is also valuable for those receiving supervision who want to make the most of sessions.

There is a misconception that tube feeding may not be helpful for ARFID patients. Tube feeding can ensure patients meet their nutritional requirements, and can take some of the food related stress away from meal times, which can lead to an increase in the amount of food trialled.
