It was a pleasure to meet the Japanese Ambassador to the UK, His Excellency Mr Hajime Hayashi, earlier this week. A great discussion on trade and investment between the UK and Japan.
This week, @BCCShevaun, @amnmartin, and @William_Bain, met with the Japanese Ambassador, His Excellency Mr Hajime Hayashi, at his residence. Their discussion focused on opportunities arising from UK entry to CPTPP, raising bilateral trade and investment, and Expo 2025 in Osaka.

🇬🇧🗺️ This Government has agreed trade deals with 73 countries, plus the EU, worth £1.1 trillion in UK trade. But it’s not all about signing trade deals, it’s about getting businesses to be aware and to use them. I sat down with business groups this afternoon to boost FTA use.
