I used @Canvas_by_Inst to grade tests and quizzes, whereas I graded essays and projects w/ a rubric. S’s need quick and detailed feedback. S’s care less as time goes on. #bfc530

Book walks, a pre reading activity. Younger children flip through the pages with the reader just to see what happens. I suggest something with pictures and not The DaVinci code. It wouldn’t have the same effect. #bfc530

We do 3 awards in my Teaching as a Profession class monthly. These awards go 2 S’s who have shown characteristics related 2 rigor, relevance & relationship in activities. S’s make a speech as they give the award 2 their peer. Refreshments are served afterwards. #bfc530
