There is to my knowledge a total amount of 0 art references of a Squiggoth with a closed jaw. But I think I'm doing well despite that. Still much to do.
Let me brak my arm from patting myself on the back a bit because I think I did a big brain move here. I used the underside of a lichee shell to stamp a scale-like texture on the model.

My god. It's not perfect. But it's goddamn GOOD. Once it truly stiffens in a few more hours removing the flush will be easy.
Attempt nr 2. Used a more chunky, shorter bit to copy. The tic-tac box with one side removed really helped in shaping the mould. If you didn't know this is the first model of a conversion beamer that was the only model of a conversation beamer for decades.

Well fuck me sideways... It failed. But its my 1st attempt. And let me tell you this failure is way better than my previous attempts with silicone moulds and resin. I'll watch some tutorials how to improve this.
