At just 14 years old, @AveryZweig is already playing in her 6th USGA championship. She finished stroke play 17 shots behind No. 2 seed Xin (Cindy) Kou, but won four of the first six holes on Wednesday en route to a 4-and-2 #USGirlsJunior victory.

14-year-old @AveryZweig was in the midst of changing her ✈️ because she thought she missed the #USGirlsJunior cut on Tuesday. But ultimately she got in a playoff, advanced with a 🐦 and knocked off the No. 2 seed Xin Kou, 4 and 2, on Wednesday!

Avery “The Nugget” Zweig, the 14 year old from Dallas last seen hitting bombs and crushing interviews at @VOAClassic two weeks ago, just got through a 9-for-4 playoff with a birdie on the 2nd extra hole to advance to match play at the #USGirlsJunior.
