@mightydudbolt AOTC is undoubtedly one of the worst big budget movies ever made. It's stunning in its complete ineptitude at every level of movie making (except music) and the horrendous 1080p visuals only get worse with every passing year.

Ironic cos the problem with Kennedy’s Lucasfilm administration is she’s been TOO laid back. There has to be someone there to tell creatives no when they get overzealous. If there was someone to do this with JJ Abrams and Rian Johnson Star Wars would be in a FAR better place now.

I think enough time has passed that I can finally say Battlefront 2 has a decently good campaign? What it does is compelling, it’s just that EA and Lucasfilm were false advertising what we were getting with Iden and Del’s defection so early on in the game.

I’ll never forget the state of Missouri murdering this man. Despite the prosecutor on his case acknowledging the two witnesses they used to convict him at trial were paid off and the victim’s family advocating for him, the Missouri Governor REFUSED to grant a stay of execution.
Marcellus Williams was an innocent brother who was executed by the state of Missouri on Sept 24th, 2024. He was convicted of murdering Felicia Gayle in 1998, despite there being no evidence against him. The header is taken from his final words before execution.

It’ll never not be a travesty how the biggest Star Wars fan on the sets of that trilogy got shafted the way he did by those creatives… Especially since he was the most dynamic protagonist Star Wars had introduced in decades.
It’s baffling because the film’s editor made comments alluding to him being Force Sensitive. Like we even hear him sense the deaths of the trillions of people in the Hosnian System here like Obi Wan does with Alderaan in A New Hope.

This is kinda something that’s inconsistent within the trilogy. TFA says that he’s trying to claim that legacy and that’s fine. Then TLJ shows he wants to be better than Vader and blaze his own path, cementing his corruption arc, then TROS… has him communing with it again?
people will be like "kylo is just a wannabe vader" as if its some flaw that the filmmakers were hoping we wouldn't notice, and not the entire point of the whole sequel trilogy

Old Post, but I've got a take on this The reason there's so many Conservative SW fans is bc during the release of the ST there's an overwhelming effort by rw grifters to co-opt SW as part of their "Culture War" Despite the fact it is so obviously antithetical to their beliefs
Ok here’s a more interesting one: the reason young male star wars fans seem to be so overwhelmingly conservative is because they grew up watching the Clone Wars, a show first and foremost devoted to making the viewer sympathetic to the foundational soldiers of fascism

I still think Fifteen should’ve been The Doctor to settle down and spend a life with Bel and Poppy instead of Fourteen. The Doctor becoming a father and allowing himself to fall back into that life would’ve been NEW GROUND. Poppy (somehow) being Susan’s mother was unnecessary.
