Give Emporia a lot of credit, they’re hanging tough with Andover right now. Andover clinging to a 9-8 lead after the first quarter in an unusually poor shooting performance so far. Love the on-ball pressure here from senior Austin Henry to blow up Emporia’s last possession.

Andover scored 92 points earlier this week in its first-round win. After 11 minutes against Emporia, the Trojans had just 11 points. Nice move here from Austin Henry for the bucket, but Emporia has the undefeated Trojans down 19-14 in the final minute of the 2nd quarter.

For just the second time in school history, the Andover boys basketball team is headed to the state tournament with an undefeated record. Andover moves to 22-0 on the season with a 49-45 win over Emporia in the 5A substate title. @harperjonas11 with the exclamation point.

The Andover Trojans (16-0) are your AVCTL-II Champions. It's their most wins since the 2008-09 season. That's also the last year they won a league championship. #2 Trojans knock off Maize South 82-68.
