The Banff Gondola was ground to a halt at around 9pm last night, stranding hundreds of people at the top of Sulphur Mountain. The gondola is still down. Two helicopters are still operating, airlifting visitors to safety.
90 people remained atop the mountain as of 9:30am

Holiday travel woes continue at

People I’ve talked to say they’ve been at the airport for upwards of 18 hours after their flights were cancelled. Hundreds of lost bags as well.
Now, many are stuck in Calgary just 4 days before Christmas with no luggage.

A massive explosion rocked Marlborough at around 8:50am this morning. 10 people have been taken to hospital, 6 in life-threatening condition. Nearby residents say they lost power after the blast.

As a college student, it kind of grinds my gears seeing all the realistic, top-notch Halloween costumes pro athletes are rocking. I had to ask the pizza guy to spare a couple of extra boxes to make mine because I couldn't afford anything at "The Halloween Shop".
