Delivering medical services in PNG’s most remote areas is vital work. A pleasure to join @TkatchenkoMP to farewell the MV YWAM PNG before she sets sail for 🇵🇭for refurbishment & maintenance work. Supported by 🇦🇺, the MV YWAM will be ship shape and back in 🇵🇬 by October.

Delivered in partnership with TWM Group & Incentive Fund, the Resource Recovery Centre in Central Province will introduce world-class systems for the reuse, repurposing, and recycling of waste and is the first of its kind in PNG and the Pacific.

Almost 50 years since he helped birth a new nation, I have come to Wewak to pay respects to the late Grand Chief Sir Michael Somare. This is my first trip outside of Port Moresby as 🇦🇺 High Commissioner to 🇵🇬, and one of my most important. Thank you to the Somare family.
