These findings may have implications for sleep interventions that enhance interoception through mindfulness, for which caution should be exercised for older adults and those with anxiety.

Results show that greater belief in one's interoceptive abilities, which increased with age, predicts poorer sleep quality, particularly in individuals with higher levels of anxiety.

In this new study, @Ahhyun_Seo, @Klee_773 investigate the role of interoception, the perception of internal body sensations, and related insula integrity in sleep patterns across the adult lifespan.

New paper from our lab in which @sidni_justus shows that altered experienced arousal in Autism Spectrum Disorders reduces episodic memory for emotional events. Stronger effects with age support an accelerated aging hypothesis of ASD.

PhD candidate @Riya_Sidhu gets the credit for this study showing that nostalgia pushes our dance buttons in a special way. "Nostalgic Tunes Trigger Stronger Urge to Dance Than Familiar Hits" https://t.co/OIIK0l7VbR via @neurosciencenew

A new study reveals that nostalgia plays a powerful role in making us want to dance, even more so than familiarity with a song alone.

Why do we remember some events but forget others? In our recent work published at @NatureComms, @AudreyDuarte15 and I used machine learning to simultaneously quantify multiple cognitive components of episodic memory. https://t.co/PtsYBPy0Lf 1/11
