I dig this. Not only as a believer but as an athlete. As a fellow believer I love that her peace comes from the Lord & that she is unashamed on the big stage. As an athlete I love that she knows what works for her and gets in the right “place” no matter what that looks like!!!.
Tennessee pitcher Matty Moss was one strike away from sending @Vol_Softball to Super Regionals, when. She called time, silenced the crowd, and. Prayed. 2 pitches later, she ended the game with a strikeout!. @mattymoss11 @NCAAsoftball

My biggest wish for young female athletes is that they don’t become robots because of taught mechanics. I want them to find and trust their athleticism. I LOVE quality mechanics, and believe in them! But as we mature we need those mechanics to blend with our athleticism.

I love this park, I have amazing memories playing here, but the Olympics in the US should be bigger than the WCWS. The athletes should get the full Olympic experience and the types of crowds that LA can host. I wish there would have been a more creative solution.

My former teammate Katie Doiron (Medina) aka our star shortstop when I was at UF, just coached my 17 year old sisters in the Nevada state championship. They won. They’re state champs. This is so cool.

You know what’s great about pro softball?? We take ourselves seriously enough to know we’re awesome and to know our worth. Yet we don’t take ourselves too seriously that we forget why we started playing in the first place. We have so much FUN doing what we do💙.

The only “unwritten rule” I care about is “don’t step on the line before the game starts” and “don’t talk about the no-no or perfect game when present in the dugout” . But those are mostly superstitions for people on my team, I won’t hit you over it 😉😂.

My main concern about the transfer portal isn’t so much that people are using it, but at the rate it’s being used after 1 year. Are HS seniors not being prepared for the next level? Do they have inflated/unrealistic expectations? Are they not picking the right school for them?.

I’ve always appreciated the intense passion that softball fans have b/c it made for a really cool atmosphere but I’m floored by some of them & their boldness to speak out negatively on teams, coaches, etc. when they only get a small picture of what really goes into a season.

I’m relatively indifferent to the new NCAA likeness rule:the way these programs market the athletes, it’s very much a business so I get it. My hope is that it doesn’t become a big distraction. My prayer is that programs will PREPARE/EDUCATE their athletes to make smart decisions.
