I am a self-funded #PhD student. That means that I do not get paid for it. After several years applying for funded positions I was not getting anywhere, I was feeling #stupid and #useless. My #mentalhealth was very bad every December when applying to these positions.

A very worthwhile 3am wake-up! We ringed 64 gulls this morning at @PortburyWharf. Our first time ringing this small mixed colony of ~80+ pairs of Lesser Black-backed and Herring Gulls. Next weekend @Flatholmers
