I totally agree with you.
Moreover, they all think that this is some kind of holy grail, although there are a lot of methods of trading in the market.
I will say one thing - the best traders I've seen with the most capital have only one MacBook Air instead of 5 huge monitors.

You can have at least 5 perfect setups, but still open trades out of boredom, open too many trades, indulge in risk and so on.
Without emotional work on yourself, you can't talk about long distance trading.
