As a casual cEDH enjoyer I can’t tell what the vibe is anymore on it as a separate format. When I first started I thought it was “we just want commander at its most powerful.” Now it feels like a lot want it separate or we just need things put in place for tournament play.

I've seen a lot of concern about staying within the "rules" of each bracket; and would like to reiterate that these are not rules. They are the average expectations of kind of game. If your deck doesn't meet those expectations, you can ALWAYS mention it pregame to adjust them.
No major changes to the Brackets this time, but we've been working on clarifying some of the ~*vibes~* around each Bracket, including adding avg "safe turns" and delineating expectations for decks, win conditions, and gameplay. We've also removed tutor restriction from 1 & 2.

Guys, let's be real. We shouldn't be talking about Commander until Pioneer is alive and healthy.
Bans and unbans should come once we've fixed the 4th seat issue. We're worrying about the crooked picture instead of the cracked foundation.

It's easier to print a "fixed" Oracle than to get cards like Pact and Oracle back into the card pool.
Hey @GavinVerhey and @wizards_magic don't ban thoracle. If you don't like instant wins, ban pact or consultation because those both enable other instant win strategies. This is one of three cards that allow you to win by milling yourself out. Let us pursue that line of play.

Magic players hate this one simple trick:
every time someone activates this I immediately raise my hand and say “I will never activate this” or “I will activate this, get whatever you want, and pass it back to you” whichever one pleases their single brain cell AND THEY PASS IT TO BLUE FARM OR KINNAN EVERY. TIME.
