It was such an honor to spend the day with all the students
@miltonhershey
…what an amazing place! I was so inspired by the enthusiasm of the students for STEM and space exploration. Pretty sure I saw some future Mars explorers in the audience!
It was great to see Crew-4

This is my favorite image taken so far by Orion, currently in a Distant Retrograde Orbit around the Moon, farther than any human-rated craft has ever travelled!

This picture shows how the Florida peninsula is shedding all the water

dumped on it. This was taken approx 2 days after it made landfall. Ian sure churned up the waters of the Gulf of Mexico!
This storm is HUGE! That’s the Mississippi River and New Orleans on the left. It covers the entire Florida peninsula! We could see through the eye just as it was making landfall. Praying for the safety of everyone dealing with

Ever wonder what a 🚀 launch looks like from space? It’s amazing!!
@NASA_Astronauts
and fellow 🐢, Frank Rubio launched on a Soyuz just a few hours ago…now he’s at the front door of
@Space_Station
awaiting hatch opening! Welcome aboard, Frank!
“Set Phasers to STUN!” Actually we’re performing an
@ESA
experiment called GRASP. It uses virtual reality on
@Space_Station
to research whether the lack of gravity affects motor control and/or hand-eye coordination.
It’s incredible how something that seems so beautiful from space can be so terrible on Earth…Praying for the safety of those in the path of Typhoon Nanmadol.
