If youâre out of work and canât find what youâre looking for, thereâs no shame in pursuing bridge jobs youâre overqualified for. Have 2 versions of your resume: a watered-down version for *a* job and a bragging resume for *the* job. Get paid while you continue to search.

Seriously. And, BIG Companies (looking at you @Twitter and @Google and @amazon) need to back their BIG decision with an equally BIG commitment to treating people humanely. Stop lowering the bar.
Iâve heard too many stories from employees finding out theyâve been laid off when they couldnât access work devices, or long-time employees notified via automated template emails. But hey, keep telling us you treat employees like family.
