I particularly like @MatthewAKraft #2; this is why @NationalGYO exists. I’d also add: 1. Reduce total cost to become a teacher (I.e. housing, transportation, unpaid clinicals , taxes) 2. Connect teacher training to cognitive science 3. Mobilize aspiring teacher as tutors

ICYMI-- The NJ Acting Commissioner of Education reported in a budget hearing on 4/18 that 815 teachers were accepted through the Limited CE/CEAS pilot program. This is the ONLY data we have heard to date on teacher policy work that INCREASED the pool of educators in NJ
