Your girl is a published author!! It was an honour to be asked to contribute by @DrBloomer & @frecklescorp & surreal to see my words in print. Can’t wait to get my hands on a copy to read the contributions of so many who were part of the journey to decriminalise abortion in NI.

Really wish I’d stayed in bed this morning and had another hour feeling hopeful.

This is something many of us have been shouting about for years. Offering additional testing earlier in pregnancy will not remove the devastation of finding out your baby has an FFA but it could lessen the suffering of the pregnant person.

Now more than ever, our focus should be on our society & the system which normalises behaviours & attitudes that facilitate the escalation of violence. We each have a role in creating a culture of accountability & consent...

We flew out on the @jet2tweets 7.10 flight from @belfastairport and got a Jet2 transfer coach from Faro to the Eden Resort Albufeira. My daughter has had Woolly for her whole life so is understandably distraught. Please help!!!

If you're more enraged about policing women's participation in the Olympics than by a man convicted of raping a 12-year-old girl being allowed to compete, it’s time to check your priorities.

For those who tell you voting never changes anything. Sixty years ago we went to the polls with every seat held by one party. Today, our electoral map is very different. That happened through voting, not sitting at home.

Every voter should know that their ballot is important and can alter the political map in a big way

Today's news is not fodder for memes and jokes, or political point scoring. There will be many whose own experiences such a widely discussed story will have stirred up. Despite it being a bank holiday weekend, support is still available from (underfunded, overworked) charities.
We're aware of a lot of discussion of historic abuse online today. Everyone needs support sometimes. It's so important to look after yourself and ask for help if you need it, or take a social media break. We have put together a list of support services. https://t.co/DiOTHpHfNF

If you need further evidence of why decriminalisation of abortion is essential, watch Three Families (based on true events) available on Apple TV and Amazon Prime.

Don’t get sucked in by these hyperbolic headlines, there are real people impacted by these laws restricting abortion access and forcing people to wait until their baby inevitably dies is cruel beyond measure.

It gives pregnant people a choice that they can base on the information they have available to them at the time. For many, ending a pregnancy is an act of compassion for both the foetus and the person that is pregnant. 4/

Decriminalising abortion would mean that people who get the same devastating news that I did can choose to end their pregnancy without the risk of prosecution as a Fatal Foetal Abnormality/Incompatible with Life diagnosis is not black and white 3/u

10 years ago (almost to the day 14th Feb 2014) my first baby was diagnosed with a condition that was incompatible with life at 20 wks. Due to the law in force then I was forced to carry her until the pregnancy naturally came to an end at 35 weeks. That was 15 weeks of torture 2/

Completely misleading and irresponsible headline from the newsletter. This is about decriminalising abortion in England and Wales. 1/
Typical hysteria from the Newsletter. Amendment is about decriminalisation in England & Wales bringing them into line with NI. Doesn't change time limit or provision in E&W in any way – it is only about whether women go to jail for having to end their pregnancies. #trustwomen 1/3

This. The irony is utterly galling. #uppaworkers
Today, we have politicians being paid a full wage who refuse to get back into government and do their bloody job Whilst, our precious nursing staff and public sector workers stand in the freezing cold on picket lines…they are the ones who deserve to be paid more! #UppaWorkers
