6. Speaking of, as a diversity program director, it’s often really hard to find faculty to be involved in our programming. We tend to bug the same handful of faculty who always participate (BLESS THEM). We know you're busy, but hey, you wanted to know what YOU can do, right?

5. Get involved with diversity initiatives on your campus! In science there are tons. We are ALWAYS looking for faculty to be involved through providing research opportunities but also leading journal clubs, giving feedback on talks, or just coming to our events to hang out!
