We just watched #StrikingWithPride directed by @AshFranRoy. A powerful, moving and life-affirming documentary about the unexpected coming together of gay people and striking miners in 1984. I couldn't have enjoyed it more. Thanks to all involved.

No discussion can do justice to the powerful, moving history and insight in Striking With Pride. Strongly recommended via NowTV or Sky.
'40 years ago, a group of gay people in London decided they were going to support the miners, and twin with a Welsh mining community.' Director @AshFranRoy speaks to @KayBurley about his documentary Striking with Pride: United at the Coalface https://t.co/xcrqaaP2p9 ๐บSky 501

โWhat we werenโt expecting to find, was a misconduct process that was unfit for purpose in addressing seriously concerning behaviour; a broken system that meant expectations of the public werenโt being met day to day.โ @NBPAUK

All fly on the wall docs following police Iโve seen amount to copaganda. Not this. โTo Catch A Copperโ reveals how unfit for purpose holding snide coppers to account really is. Watch tonight at 9pm on Channel 4. https://t.co/urXB2ei0YU
