Months of work by Grade 8 students at Quispamsis Middle School led to this incredible display at the qplex this evening. 14,000+ hand-painted cardboard squares make up this 18 x 18 metre display depicting a portrait of Sixties Scoop survivor Minda Burley as a child. @ASD_South

It’s all about the letter A this week in Kindergarten! We went on a letter hunt and earned a treasure of aaaaaplesauce! After reading “Ten Apples Up On Top” we picked apples and then the children were challenged to build the tallest tower! @ASD_South @ASDS_Science @takemeoutside

As part of an Innovation grant, K-2 classes are learning traditional Indigenous games in P.E. Today, we played our version of “Tatanka, Tatanka.” Tatanka is the biggest buffalo and leader of the herd. He tries to round up all the other buffalo. @ASDS_PhysEd @AsdsInnovation
