Power was fully restored to customers overnight Sunday. But most importantly – thank you to our customers for their patience and understanding as we worked to resolve the issue.🙌.

This included a team effort with power line technicians, staff in engineering and design, vegetation crews who cleared the area, a dispatch crew coordinating the actual installation of the line and managing river traffic, and our customer care team notifying customers.

Crews acted quickly and restored power to 960 customers by Saturday afternoon.⚡️In order to restore power to the remaining customers, crews initiated the complex task of installing an overhead line across the busy Bouctouche River.

A big thank you to our crews who restored power to just over 1,100 customers in Bouctouche over the long weekend. Early Saturday morning, the team discovered cables had been badly vandalized along the Bouctouche River Bridge.
