It’s not good enough because the baseline demands of Israel are very high. If they were merely looking for security (something many people thought) then some reasonable compromise with its neighbors could have already been made but it turns out they have sweeping and dramatic
this is the actual destination of the issue in normie American politics, we're not all going to radicalize into anti-imperialism or esoteric Hitlerism--people will just come to see Israel as one more foreign country with an impassioned ethnic constituency to be balanced against
