One way I think Frieren could have done something more interesting with its premise was if Himmel was a more flawed/grey character and the idealized picture of him we see in Frieren's memories was a distortion showing how the passage of time leaves only the most positive memories

In the actual show the angels cannot tell Lucifer’s daughter how humans go to heaven. Despite the fact that humans have allegedly arrived there for at least 6000 years. I am not kidding the show is THAT stupid.

I recently rewatched some Billy and Mandy along with some Courage. Decided to watch a few of the modern cartoons. And I cannot believe how defanged modern cartoons are, no wonder are children growing dumber nothing challenges them anymore.
CN's last real string of originals before it became a reboot factory were just a bunch of homogeneous blob cartoons that nobody wanted to watch and aired for, like, maybe a week.
