I am pleased to see the UK is not involved in these strikes on Iran. They are ill-advised and illegal. We will be hit by the consequences though & need to prepare for chaos in the region, with shipping lanes, oil facilities & military bases (including our own) being attacked.

@Arron_banks I did notice. The Right weren't split. The Right didn't come close to winning in a predominantly white, working class, Northern seat.

After begging for our votes, what are the chances, if Reform lose the by election, by a narrow margin, any of us Conservative members and supporters, will get our timelines flooded with, "It's all the fault of the Tories, splitting the vote" and then acres of vitriolic abuse.

Men like Arron Banks are the reason why the Right can't unite. You can't win over more voters by insulting them. Ironic considering that's how Remain thought they'd win the Brexit referendum. Banks is now copying Remain.

It wasn't. We were told Reform were in with a chance of winning the seat. They didn't even come close. They will continue to be major disruptors, and a serious political force. But there is now no prospect of them winning an election outright. They have hit their ceiling.

Reform's narrative this morning seems to be "in seats where the demographics are good for us we can win". Well yes. If they can find 326 seats with no BAME, young, graduate, ABC1 voters they're storming to power. But in reality there is now a major anti-Reform constituency.
