🚨 There’s a large-scale supply chain attack in progress: the NPM account of a reputable developer has been compromised. The affected packages have already been downloaded over 1 billion times, meaning the entire JavaScript ecosystem may be at risk. The malicious payload works

When you use Liana (or any multisig wallet), you NEED to keep a backup of your descriptor. Often, people don't back it up properly for fear of privacy loss. We are proposing to solve this with encrypted descriptors, we wrote a draft BIP. 👇 1/n

But serious introspective question: if you're not getting censored for what you're saying, or building something that you wake up at least slightly afraid of what you're building... are you really doing something worth doing?

#XLibre runs on #NetBSD. See https://t.co/2TVOi3JyTU. It took one https://t.co/YUqMBQW3Zw to say, “I want this to work!” and the others joined in and they together developed a solution. That’s one thing we love about #FOSS. A big thank you to all involved. #BSD #XLibreBSDsWeek

@brian_trollz @JeffBooth It is infinitely more likely for a compromised developer to gaslight non-technical bitcoiners into operating an attack on Bitcoin than it is to have one or two compromised developers convince 80-100 of the smartest developers in the world to accidentally run an attack on Bitcoin.

I am really surprised with @XLibreDev, seems like everything works better, KDE Plasma, Steam, Proton, Discord, Slack. TAnd there are weird things that happen with wayland multiple monitors, games... IDK whats going on but wayland is heading the wrong direction maybe?

BIP47 vs Silent Payments Both aim to fix address reuse in Bitcoin. Silent Payments are experimental. BIP47 is better today - more scalable, usable, and reproducible. Here’s why BIP47 still wins for practical privacy. 👇 🧵

Hey @truenas, did you know Movistar/o2 Spain is blocking 185.244.226.2 (Datacamp, Germany), your EU repo? No ISOs, no updates. It even looks like the whole range might be affected. New achievement unlocked: censoring infrastructure. #laligagate
