Please answer Hackney consultation on Wayland and Sandringham Road A council safety project should physically prevent illegal parking in areas that pose a danger to pedestrians and cyclists The proposition doesn't solve resident safety issues https://t.co/7Tu8WuNTPN @ZoeGarbett

Lorries using #Waze shortcuts around schools at 3.30pm That's #Dalston #Hackney sad reality. (no safe crossing obviously, they're too expensive and we didn't get enough pedestrian casualties to justify it ). #EnoughIsEnough

School strike today, fully supported. No impact on rat running traffic in #Dalston residential roads between 8am and 9am. Source: @TelraamTelraam sensor on Sandringham Road E8. Census21: 5% of #Hackney population drives to work. What is the traffic ruining our neighbourhood?

More than 50% of people living within LTNs in Hackney live in social housing. Our Low Traffic plan aims to tackle toxic air pollution and help protect our children's lungs. Here I am speaking to @BBCNews about the most ambitious traffic reduction plan in the UK ✌🏾🌍

QUIZ! Which end of Sandringham Road had the worst traffic from 9-10am yesterday? EAST had more heavy vehicles, WEST had more cars - both ends were BAD! #dalston #theNextThreeLTNs @metecoban92 @mayorofhackney @PhilipGlanville @Zoe4Hackney @hackneycouncil @HackneyLivingSt

Traffic pretty consistent every weekday throughout the morning on what used to be a quiet #hackney road. Note a slight increase on Thursday due to the tube strike. Not a massive change though @metecoban92 @mayorofhackney @PhilipGlanville #theNextThreeLTNs @Zoe4Hackney

Have you spotted one of the @GreenSchoolRuns anti idling banners in Hampstead? 😊 Remember to turn off your engine if you stop for more than 10 seconds! πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ‘ @idlingaction #EnginesOff

Thank you #Waze, #Dalston kids are living the dream. Hats off to drivers not stopping to let them cross so they can wait faster at the end of the residential shortcut. Special thanks to all vans and lorries contributing. @hackneycouncil #TheNextThreeLTNs

Good news, our @telraam traffic monitor on residentialSandringham Road #Hackney is now calibrated to detect heavy vehicles (vans and lorries). Bad news, share of heavy vehicles using #Dalston residential roads is absurd. Today, 7am to 8pm :

This is the traffic we don't want anymore. Thousands of vehicles, mostly commercial, using our residential streets as cut-through as advised by #Waze. Safety, community, and childhood are impacted to gain minutes. We need a LTN urgently @Zoe4Hackney @metecoban92 @mayorofhackney

Hi ⁦@Zoe4Hackney⁩ Argos on Sandringham Road is a real problem for both the Environment and Transport in Dalston. The top of Sandringham Road regularly doubles as a make shift car park for Argos. You can see here an entire line of idling cars all parked on double yellows.
