The @RoyalMail customs charge basically amounts to criminal extortion. I can’t believe £8 of work is required to handle this. It’s unreal that they can just hold your items hostage to these fees. There should be other reasonable options.

Well this won’t “restore” my national identity. I’ve only ever had a burgundy passport and strongly identify with it. Either way, what a vain and shallow reason to destroy the economy. @BrandonLewis @SteveBakerHW

Britons will have their national identity “restored” after over 30 years, the Home Office says, under plans to switch back to blue passports after Brexit. The department confirmed on Friday that a project is under way to switch back to blue from the burgundy introduced in 1988.
