Shout out to DeMario Eddins and Damian Munoz on being named to the All-Tournament Team at The John McBride Classic at Stagg. DeMario averaged 24 pts/14 rebounds over the 4 games. Damian chipped in 9 points/game. Finished 1-3 for the week. Battling flu.

Just saw Coach Ping two weeks ago at Stagg. Remember going to St. Joe's summer camp as a grade school kid from Berwyn. Remember watching the great St. Joe's teams battle King at Proviso West. Remember losing to St. Joe's in sectional my Jr and Sr years at Fenwick.

Sad news tonight. Legendary HOF St. Joseph's HS coach Gene Pingatore who is the winningest coach in state of Illinois history with over 1,000 wins has died at 83. He was a great coach and an even better person. God Bless.
