No producer pays you enough that you don't need to take up other jobs. But they all want you to give them time as if you have no other work to do. It's so exhausting on some days to manage workload and expectations, while figuring erratic cashflows. It's been that kinda week.

If 2 writers have written a film (which includes the director), how can the big credit say "Written & Directed by"? Sliding in the other writer's name in small print doesn't help. Really reeks of insecurity.

I remember the shock I felt when I read about Rishabh Pant's horrible accident. And then praying for his recovery. To see him get back on field, and now these 2 centuries in the all important England Test series is nothing short of a dream. What a guy! #INDvENG.

Pant is a MUCH better red ball cricketer than he is with the white ball. It's like he a whole other player in Tests - he reads the game better, he plays the game better and he enjoys the game better. And his numbers speak for themselves. #INDvsENG.

It's always the little things that get to me. The flowers that were bought before the airport pick up. Who will hold them?. The dinner that was planned to welcome a loved one. Who will eat it? . The hotel room, with a welcome note tucked on the pillow. Who will sleep in it?.

Despite all the 'progress' we've made, the legal language in almost all writers' agreements remains shocking. Almost no guarantees are given, including credits, and absolutely no rights remain with the writer. All films & shows are made on graveyards of writer's basic rights.
