Just a few moments ago, a question sprang into my mind: are there any other journalists out there who juggle care responsibilities?. How do we balance our loved one's needs with our love of the job? . Might need a little help myself here.

Hats off to @Plaid_Cymru, @TheGreenParty and @LibDems for releasing Easy Read versions of your manifestos. Still waiting on @Conservatives, @reformparty_uk, @UKIP and @UKLabour to release theirs in time so people like my husband can make an informed choice. #UKGeneralElection.

@TheGreenParty @LibDems @UKIP, will you be proving Easy Read manifestos for your constituents?. Last time, only two of you five published manifestos that my husband could read, without my help.

One thing I would like to know is whether the main political parties will be releasing Easy Read manifestos in time for the GE. More often than not folks with learning disabilities and access issues are considered an afterthought. @UKLabour @Conservatives.

With rumours spreading like wildfire, there's got to be a #GeneralElection on the horizon. Surely?.

I hit my three year anniversary with @journoresources a few weeks ago. Came home to this little gift this morning and it has absolutely made my day. Nothing better than a cup of tea! Going to try Sticky Toffee first, I think. !

Oh, and just before I get some DMs telling me to "get a job" :. Beat you to it. I'm employed, and work with some wonderful team mates. Not that it should even be a talking point, but there you go. #PIP.

I have so many questions about these proposals. Maybe I need more time to sit back and read them, but honestly, it's a minefield. I doubt anyone with a disability in the UK can see it going well. #PIP.

And let's think about what happens if applications for vouchers are rejected. What happens then? Will the DWP suggest alternative adaptations, or send someone out to assess my needs?. Or will they do nothing at all? #PIP.

How about hospital appointments and travel?. Will we have to wait a year and a half to get vouchers in the post? My venesection take place once a month. Would I have to provide proof of advanced appointments, and is there a limit to how many apps you can attend? . #PIP.

I can't use ordinary knives; my dyspraxia is quite severe and I've had a number of accidents. So, if I had to wait a year and a half for a voucher covering adaptive cutlery and tools, would I have to order preprepared food? Or rely on mum and dad, who are retired? #PIP.

Just a thought about these proposed #PIP reforms: the current backlog for PIP reviews in my area (Merseyside) is roughly a year and a half. Let's say vouchers are implemented. Does that mean I would have to wait similar times for vouchers covering the equipment I need?.
