I'm saddened because they definitely got this wrong. However, I pray you allow yourself to enjoy the fruits of your labor. You have given your heart and soul and you have breathed life into so many. We are losing an advocate and we now must step up. #ThankyouTim

Liberation exposure...Past two weeks trips to the Museum of Natural History, to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Dinner at the Hard Rock and then Aladdin on Broadway...college pics and Dave and Busters Incentive trip pics, DNA Lab, Tenement Museum to come and still trips to come.

I'm also decompressing after spending hours in hospice today as God has given her just a little more time, I love her and pray for her peace. I pray for all who are affected by our recent series of tragic events. I pray for us all.

Yeah, I know what you're thinking, it's common sense to do as I did...I thought so too until I found out that it wasn't an automatic thought for many leaders. I'm not passing judgment because maybe they just needed help.

I'm thankful that I had the mindset to IMMEDIATELY check on ALL my students and their families BECAUSE our kids in NYC TRAVEL from all over, although schools were not given direction to do so.. nor were we checked up on.

It's 12 AM, while many are sleeping, I'm fully awake although I started my work day at 6:30 am. I'm thinking about the words I will say when I address my school community tomorrow morning. I'm decompressing and giving thanks that my niece just missed that N train this morning.
