A special thank you to all those joined us in celebrating our 10-year anniversary last Saturday. We welcomed over 30-guests including people with aphasia, their loved ones, past committee members and people working with aphasia.

Apart of our success is a sub-committee of volunteer speech pathologists π£οΈ This has allowed us to support the aphasia community with over 54 personalised responses to questions about therapy services, aphasia information, and support groups.

This event also showcased our recent βConversation, Connection, Communityβ campaign supported by @VicGovAu, which has delivered a series of animated training videos to help support better conversations with those living with aphasia.

An essential part of this event included a panel that allowed us to hear from people with aphasia, their carers and speech pathologists sharing experiences of living, working and supporting a loved one with aphasia.
