We managed to get a few of our @AotearoaScience stories into the media over the break. This one is very cool - the discovery of a settlement in the Hauraki Gulf that pre-dates the Rangitoto eruption c1400, making it one of the oldest sites in Aotearoa!

My first trip to Motuihe Island yesterday, filming with @AotearoaScience, and I couldn't be more blown away. My first proper tuatara in the wild, and tieke and kākāriki too! All a short hop from Auckland, amazing!

We've had such a great time at @AotearoaScience this year, I thought we should make a Xmas thing. It's harder than you might think to find 12 shots of the right number of different animals, but totally worth it. We've filmed plenty of human scientists too, but we know what sells!
