Musk turning Grok into a Nazi should be the one of the most useful developments in AI discourse so far. Problem is, I can also see people gleefully embracing a new era of post-truth with their chosen AI sculpting reality around them, just like their chosen cable news networks do.
We are watching the richest guy in the world destroy the concept of an intrinsically-trustworthy genAI before our very eyes. Now that we can all see grok does his bidding, our engagement with AIs must now be tied to our trust of who operates them. As it always should have been.

The FamilyBoost policy has been such a failure, with barely any families being eligible for the amount campaigned on, that they can just increase the maximum payment hugely without worrying that they'll actually have to pay much more out.
More cost of living relief for families. We’re increasing the maximum FamilyBoost payment from $75 a week to up to $120 a week, to help with early childhood care costs.

I think people are calling for the soldiers who are carrying out the genocide to be killed to stop them, and I don't think that lib-splaining this does anyone any favours. "From the river to the sea" gets intentionally misinterpreted, but "death to the IDF" is pretty explicit.
When ppl chant “Death to the IDF” they’re calling for the end of a military entity that is currently committing genocide. It’s not that hard to grasp, but the entire media continues to intentionally mischaracterize the sentiment behind this message in order to manufacture outrage.

It's weak to have a public platform and never use it to speak up against the genocide. But the way Court only really pipes up to be critical of protests really does indicate he actually supports Israel's war crimes. That's not just hawkish neoconservatism, it's actual pure evil.
I have felt sickened and revolted by the Glastonbury crowds chanting death to Israeli soldiers (mostly conscripts) and the extermination call "river to the sea". I've spent nearly 40 years at gigs and festivals. From informal raves on abandoned Norfolk airbases, Entrain (yes!).
