The recent discussions on X talking about #FND have made me revisit my thoughts about the ‘opportunistic’ nature of the Mental Health Industry and some related industries. Professional scammers work in many areas of Mental Health corporations, organisations and charities. They.
Mental health is one of the most harmful, deadly scams ever. It is a scam that plays with peoples’ lives. The Mental Health Industry is made up of corporations and organisations that prey on the vulnerability of individuals. This scam is one that often ruins and even ends lives.

Hilarious.
@Antidepressed1 Lol. I merely identified how your original comment could mislead vulnerable individuals into choices with serious negative consequences. The fact that you have transformed this into an issue only demonstrates that your ego continues to govern your responses. Never a good sign.

By on their own I meant without professional support. Anything else?.
@Antidepressed1 I know not everyone needs to, or can, pay for support, but I would never recommend trying to do it alone. The effects can be unpredictable, no matter how long you’ve been on a particular psychotropic drug - or a combination of them. If people want to pay for help, then let them.

I never mentioned the word ‘alone’.

That is not dangerous…that is a fact. There are many people depending in the drug, length of exposure, dosage etc who can come off these drugs without paying for professional help. So much info available online, support groups and help of family and friends. Not everyone can.

Please explain what you mean by “dangerous comment”.
@Antidepressed1 Dangerous comment. My final taper and withdrawal was hellish and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the safety and security friends and acquaintances provided for me in Thailand. I was incredibly lucky to make it through. Many others won’t be.

The tapering clinics need people to believe everyone ‘fails’ and need their ‘expert’ help. All part of marketing and commercialising their hyperbolic tapering ‘hypothesis’. Just because they say they have ‘evidence based practice’ doesn’t mean that their evidence is any good.
Any research supporting claim most people fail when they try to stop psychiatric meds? All meds, all diagnosis, all length of exposure, all methods of stopping? Yes many fail - and I support harm reduction human rights and total system overhaul - but many people succeed,.
