If you haven’t tried this app yet do!!!! It’s AMAZING. It records bird song & identifies all the species present. Recorded 13 species just now & it told me there was a Linnet present. I pointed my binoculars in the direction of the song & there it was. I have never seen one!

Today I have been volunteering for @RoyalAnthro. Two panels are done and one more to go! As a third-year undergraduate soon to graduate and go into postgraduate studies it has been exciting and inspiring to see so many lecturers, master and doctorate students sharing their work.

So not only I find that my tutor and supervisor have been fired, that the course I had signed up for two years ago is apparently not relevant as they have decided to close it, no lecturers to give out lectures, but on top of that, I also have no money. Thank you @RoehamptonUni

I had filled up all my documents, and it said that my load is ready to be sent. After some chats with other students I realised is @RoehamptonUni fault, as they haven't confirmed that I am enrolled in my course. See image below.

Soo, I was waiting for my student finance to come in, as every uni student does at this time of the year. It should have come in on the 16th, but I though there might have been some delay due to the bank holiday on Monday. I checked on the SFE website, and everything seemed okay.

Yet still SMT refuse to seriously acknowledge the scourge of casualisation. (Or worse, say they are ‘committed to reducing’ while in effect blatantly and unnecessarily increasing precarious employment!)
