ATTENTION TRAIL USERS:.On Saturday, October 26 all Island trails will be closed except: Buffalo Point, Ladyfinger Point, Lakeside Loop. This temporary closure is to maintain safety during the Annual Bison Roundup. Trails will reopen Sunday or sooner.

We love a good mystery! This fish head was found near a fence post at the park. Likely a raptor ate the good bits and left the rest. Any ideas?

Your park is open. Fire crews remain on the north end of the island. Please slow down and be cautious as you enter the park.

Update: The fire is out as of last night around 7:00pm. Crews are out again this morning checking on and extinguishing any remaining hot spots. They will be working most of the day. We will remain closed until we get the all clear from them.
