NEW CAMPAIGN 🚨 Right now, people are pushed into poverty when councils send in bailiffs for council tax debt. But there’s another way. Together, we can stop this. Together, we can have dignity not debt. Together, we can make Britain Bailiff Free👇 🔗 https://t.co/KQQ8h43eJ4

A few weeks ago @AcornNorwich took action at the Eastern Landlords Association conference. Since then, the landlords have been busy trying to paint themselves as the reasonable people in the room. But as this recording passed to ACORN shows the reality is a little different…

After 6 long, sweaty hours, the eviction was finally called off. Badhaso, his partner and two young kids should never have been put through this ordeal, but they're at least still safe and housed. Direct action gets the goods! ❤️ (And join @ACORNunion )

Still here, still strong! We've held the line for more than 2 hours so far. Police are busy trying to figure out how they can legally facilitate the eviction of a vulnerable refugee Muslim family during Ramadan. All we're asking is the eviction be called off. @cardiffcouncil

Local authorities referred 600,000 people to bailiffs last year for council tax debt - over one a minute! We’ve put an end to this practice in some cities, but it’s time to grow our campaign and put an end to it across the country. Chip in to help us👇 https://t.co/2yhCEbRRs7

@AcornHackney moving council tenants to action, winning themselves millions of ÂŁs in repair works and replacements. No complicated organising theory behind this one, just lot's of hard work, hours spent doorknocking, planning actions & a massive win for our class as always.

Social housing is there for the common good. It’s all about giving long term secure homes to people… and it is more important that everyone has a home than people being able to buy an asset.” - @AnnyCullum talking to LBC about why we need to scrap Right to Buy📢

In Parliament tonight, all the Reform MPs voted AGAINST giving workers extra job security and better rights after being kicked around by bad bosses for far too long. Remember that when they pretend to be the voice of ordinary workers.
