Adults do not have a First Amendment right to avoid age verification. SCOTUS affirmed this in their decision in Free Speech Coalition v. Paxton. Now it's time for online platforms to comply and states to enforce.

This is so important. Yet again, the new language maintained severe conditions. On face value it appeared to exempt child safety legislation from the moratorium BUT only so long as it does not unduly and disproportionately burden AI or automated decision systems.
🚨 Blackburn is backing off the AI deal. New statement from her: “While I appreciate Chairman Cruz’s efforts to find acceptable language that allows states to protect their citizens from the abuses of AI, the current language is not acceptable…”
