During todays pro forma session, @SenTedBuddNC received consent to modify the previous order of Tuesday July 1st, 2025 with respect to the #Senate reconvening. The Senate will next meet on Monday July 7th 2025 for a pro forma session at 10:15 a.m.

At 5:30 p.m. the Senate will hold a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Preston Griffith to be Under Secretary of Energy.

The Senate adjourned at 12:37 p.m. and will next convene for a pro forma session only on Thursday, July 3rd at 12 p.m. noon. When the Senate adjourns following the pro forma, it will next convene for business at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7th.

By a vote of 51-50 with the Vice President voting in the affirmative, the Senate passed H.R.1, One Big Beautiful Bill Act, as amended. Senators Collins, Paul, and Tillis voted No.

By a vote of 51-50, with VP Vance voting affirmatively to break the tie, the #Senate adopted the Graham substitute amendment #2360, to H.R.1.
