As @STUC and many more in Scotland sign up to #WomenAgainstTheFarRight open letter, committing to 'a society where all women are safe,supported and free from abuse' - I question how this sits with support for a man who frequently seeks to drown out women 's views and voices.

Last night, our Director, @SELMATAHA8, joined others in stressing the need for a whole-system approach to tackling VAWG. She called for an end to two-tier discrimination and urged the government to centre Black, minoritised, and migrant women in policy and funding decisions. 2/2

Reflecting this evening on how far we've come in @UKLabour over recent years. From the dark days of "no-debate" when women's voices were completely silenced, to a packed, standing-room-only official fringe meeting about (among other things) legal victories. It's good to talk.
