I personally spoke with one of the MLAs who had a recall launched against them. They said they had actually pushed for the signature threshold to be lower than it is. They felt the required signatures were too high and that if enough people signed the petition then they were

Oh we’re praying alright! Albertans are fighting to leave like their lives depend upon it because we’re not willing to go down with this sinking ship. And prayers for Mexico as well.
Please pray for America’s neighbor who has been taken over by terrorists and is currently being driven deeper and deeper into a useless and unsafe disastrous hellhole. And Mexico is looking pretty bad too.

Ok. Shut down our pop up referendum petition signing event when it got cold(er) and darker. It was a great learning experience , we had some folks who stopped to sign, volunteer to help make the next one even better (yay!). We will not attempt this again in +40 km/hour winds.
