They failed to focus on the matter at hand: an empty building that could become a school and an investment (instead of an annual taxpayer cost). The majority of the Council favored deference over bravery and progress.

The proposed lease of 99 Kenyon to @ExcelAcademyCS is scheduled for a vote by the Providence City Council on Thursday, July 24 at 6PM. Since the May 12 hearing before Ordinance Committee, I have often find myself thinking back to Kpannah’s testimony.
