Our academic institutions are struggling. Between the lack of investment and this economy - which prevents people from being able to afford college. If working class people cannot afford it, it won't survive. La Salle has been apart of my neighborhood all of my life. It will be.
Philadelphia's economy is basically, "Eds, Meds, and Comcast." Eds and Meds look likely to struggle for the next decade.
