A really fascinating night with Mark talking all things @bladnochwhisky this evening. It’s great to properly taste through a range of whiskies from this distillery. The 14 sherry cask was the winner!

Ending the holiday having to get on another already packed train, with young children in the party, and standing in the vestibule/sat on floor!.

I love travelling in Scotland and have done so by train, ferry and bus. This was the first week where I wished for a car. @calmac & issues at Oban disrupting numerous days, now @ScotRail turfing us off half way to Glasgow as ‘they need the train for something else’.

Always good to stop off @TobDistillery to see what’s available. This is a 9yr fully matured red wine cask.

So glad to get our hands on this for the bar. I’ve visited @ardnahoe a few times and loved what they were doing, and their ethos behind whisky making. It’s been a long wait as I recall being on Islay in 2018 when their stills ran for the first time. A palpable excited was felt!

Whisky people. I'm looking for an English whisky finished/matured in beer/stout/ale casks. I'm already onto Filey Bay and White Peak. For a beer weekend special.
