We are £73 away from hitting our target! Can you help?
This Christmas, help us grant the wish of change for LGBT+ young people🌟 Sadly growing up LGBT+ is still incredibly tough. Our research shows that LGBT+ school pupils are twice as likely to have been bullied than their non-LGBT+ peers and they are more than four times as likely

My favourite article by a @JustLikeUsUK ambassador for #BlackHistoryMonth. Thanks @DIVAmagazine for publishing! Please give Romia's piece a read - 'Being a Black LGBTQIA person can feel a bit like being a celebrity – but not in a good way'

@JustLikeUsUK As a lesbian, I had hoped hearing 'gay' as an insult was something that current children didn't have to go through. We put up with it and surely things are better now, I thought? Turns out it's still a major problem. 78% of 9 to 11 year olds are hearing homophobic slurs/insults

@JustLikeUsUK One primary pupil in Glasgow said: “Because I’m a boy and have long hair I have been called gay before as an insult.” Another said: “We mainly hear people call each other ‘gay’ as an insult or a joke. This is because we see it trending on TikTok.”

New @JustLikeUsUK research out today - homophobic language remains a huge problem among young people, with many primary age pupils citing TikTok as where they've heard and used it. The figure rises to 80% among secondary pupils, too.

Been working with our ambassadors of colour to put this together and also get their voices heard in LGBT+ media. It's on all of us to speak up and use our platforms
We are deeply concerned about the impact of recent violence on LGBT+ young people of colour and want to highlight their experiences at this difficult time. Swipe to hear from our ambassadors on the recent violence👇 (1/6)

Absolutely vile to see children demonised for celebrating inclusion & their families in school in 2024. I won't share that article but as a LGBT+ parent, I'm so frustrated this narrative is being pushed. LGBT+ families exist & our children should never be made to feel ashamed!

Rainbow flags are a common sight nowadays. But make no mistake, advocates and queer campaigners urge: Pride still matters – a lot.
