I am working on another Performance Video for Jedi between PS5 and Xbox X. Reason why: The very beginning of the game(what I analysed) is in favour(very much) for the PS5. When you play further than the PS5 has a similar (bad/worse) performance as the Xbox X.

So what is this about that the SSD in the Xbox is too slow to run this game? Sorry but that is BS. Yes the PS5 SSD is faster and yes some Games on the PS5 having incredible fast loading times (R&C) but the Xbox SSD can read min 2,4GB/s . Don't tell me that not enough.

If you can't tell the difference between 30fps & 60fps on a decent screen it's time to see a Optometrists.
The 30fps is "unplayable" narrative is one of the worst trends to ever happen in gaming. This asinine PC lames rhetoric has you passing on great game experiences
Yet 95% of you can't tell the difference between 30fps & 60fps unless you're told beforehand

That's just one scene what I found...the game is long and the chance that the Xbox has the same issue is big. Overall this game is bad on all platforms. Xbox works better with VRR enabled , PS5 has less loading stuttering.

I found that a bit later in the Game the Max Peak Brightness can actual reach almost 900nits. The awful black level raise is still present makes everything totally washed out.

I am glad that Digital Foundry came to the same conclusion as I did about the RE4 Demo. Some Fanboys really need to get some help! I pre-ordered Diablo 4 on PS5, so much for being a Xbox Fanboy. I am sick and tired of all this stupid comments when I do a PS5 vs Xbox Video.

My son played the first time Fortnite on my G2 in 120FPS. He noticed the difference between his cheap 60Hz LCD immediately . That's my son 😀

Looks like there is a big misunderstand how VRR works on the Xbox compared to the PS5. Let's make this very simple. Xbox supports LFC which works below the VRR Range. PS5 does not support LFC. Below the VRR Range you have stuttering on the PS5 and no stuttering the Xbox.

Your Xbox is outputting a 120Hz Signal to the TV , that's why your TV thinks it is 120FPS. That's a common misunderstanding!

So I tested

4 over the weekend on the PC , PS5, and X. On the PC I had the worst experience...a lot of stuttering because of Internet issues...PS5 had some stuttering but very good performance. Xbox was the best, almost no stuttering. Anyone else experienced that?

If you can use VRR for the PS5 & Xbox Version in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. VRR can't fix all the issues with the performance but it will gives much better experience!

Was attending a wedding in the middle of nowhere in Australia. Basically, it's just an hour from my place. It's so peaceful here. There was no TV and no Internet at . It's just very relaxing 😌

Proof that the "bad" HDR implementation in
@StarfieldGame
was done on purpose. First HDR is limited to 250nits and then suddenly we have almost 900nits. This behavior in combination with terrible Black Level Raise is very bad for good HDR IMO.

It's 2022 , we have now PS5 and Xbox X and still Developers are focusing on 30FPS modes in their games.
30FPS is really bad on High End OLED TV's due to the fast Pixel Response Time.
60FPS should be the new 30FPS.
What do you think?

I cancelled my PS PLUS. I tried Plus Deluxe for a year and I dont think it's worth the money. Maybe I get a different plan but not sure yet.

Fidelity and 30FPS doesn't work together in a video game. How can you talk about fidelity if everything is blurry when you move or play the game?! 30FPS was and will never be a good framerate to play games!

Testing (again) HDR in RDR2. So far (spoiler alert) HDR is pretty good from a technical point of view. Not sure if they improved HDR with patches at some point again but I thought that HDR is/was bad in this game. Turns out it's not! Video is coming hopefully in the next days.

Working on a side by side comparison for Fallout 4 Next Gen Update. Just for PS5 right now as the Xbox Version is still buggy. Struggling with recording Framerate atm...not sure when I can finished my video. The 40fps mode is pretty good BTW 😉

I received JUST NOW review codes for the PS5 and Xbox Version of Avatar . My HDR Analyses / Settings Video is based on the PC Version which I received a couple of Days ago. IF there is any difference between PC and Console in regards of HDR, I will let you know ASAP.

My LG G2 is faulty 😭 I turned the TV on today and since then I have this white pixel line on the left hand side. First my CX had an issue just after 2 Days after I bought it and now the G2 after 1.5 Years 😒

60FPS is the minimum for an OLED TV to enjoy Videogames. 30FPS is a no go and 40FPS is a nice to have feature but just people with a 120Hz screen can use it. There is no excuse to not have an 60FPS Mode in any game! Who cares about 4K when the picture is a blurry 30FPS mess.

Ratchet & Clank Loading Times PS5 vs PC. It's impressive how much faster the PS5 is compared to my P3. I will test it later on my Main Drive Crucial P5 Plus. Should be much faster.
