Few generations ago - cars, home appliances, electronic gadgets were luxuries. Clean air, water, green spaces were (a given) necessities. Now - things considered as luxuries in the past are necessities & clean air, water, greenery are luxuries. Is this progress? #FoodForThought

Most used strategy for clean roadsides, footpaths - āLet it beā. Let it pile up so much that some citizen volunteer group comes forward to clean it up. Then let it pile up again. Repeat. Govt. doesnāt have to do anything & litterbugs can continue littering.
NO OTHER CITY IN INDIA HAS AS MANY WILLING VOLUNTEERS WHO LOVE THE CITY AND WANT TO HELP, AS BENGALURU. No other city has people coming forward to clean up the street, be traffic wardens, clean out the garbage, plant trees, paint the walls and we could go on and on and on.
